| This happened to a friend and I in CA at a Mexican restaurant. She was fully Mexican and bi-lingual but spoke with no accent. So when she spoke to me, they assumed she didn't know any Spanish. As we got our food and sat down, I looked at her and realized something was wrong. When I asked, she whispered that the couple running the restaurant were married, having sexual issues with getting pregnant and would probably die if they knew someone in the room could understand them. She was trying to let on like she didn't understand. |

April: Ah, I would hate to be in a situation like that... I often hear things I'm not supposed to at the store. And these people should know that can speak the same language as they, because must of us in this area speak only the one! |
