Hugs are for Thugs April 7, 2006

Well. . . I know I have heard of teachers pulling kids of off each other in preschool because they were doing a little more than hugging (I know, scary huh?). . . But making a child write about not hugging her classmates is just seriously wrong.

Wrong I say!!

What do people think is going to happen? You can't stop children from hugging! It's a natural outlet! I just don't understand what goes on in people's heads these days.

And this is one of the many reasons I refuse to have children. I will not raise them in this "no touching of any sort" kind of environment! Stupid. I mean, there are lots of other reasons, too. . . But this one is today's.

What happens to "Hugs not Drugs"?

Is it going to become "Drugs then Hugs"?

Or maybe: "Hrugs are for Thugs! Just say NO!"
