No Tattoos Please, Mr. Cthulhu May 9, 2006 |
  |
Right. . . Well. . .
I wanted to have something to do with my most recent job experience, and Adam thought that having Cthulhu would be cool.
So I did a combo.
See, I went to go work at this cool place that used to be a Pier One. But they got out of the franchise and are now something else, but with all the same type of merch. So I wanted to work there. Well, the interview wasn't much of one, and I was hired on the spot. They had just lost 6 people. I figured it was due to the fact that the college kids were going home. I guess I'll never know. . .
During my training, they told me that I had to bandage the tattoo on my hand. . . And that the woman that had interviewed me had, in fact, seen the tattoo then. . . But she decided to wait until later to tell me that they didn't want obvious tattoos. . . I supposed she was desperate, and figured that once I was there I would be OK with covering it up.
I don't think so.
I'm still looking for gainful employment. . . Just not very hard.
;-p
If you want to see the tattoo, it's over here in my Flickr account.
