A true, if summarized, story.

Really, this woman tried to ship some turtles across state lines. And that's against the law. Especially so when at least one of them was endangered. If she had been able to ship, it would have been a federal offense.

She had one that was called an Albino Soft Shell turtle. It sounded pretty cool, but I didn't get to see it because the Game Warden didn't get to the store until after I left. I guess there were 8 turtles in a little tiny box (the box in the comic is at least twice the size of the actual box, I saw the box but not the turtles). Some of my co-workers think that they were clawing so much because they were running out of breathable air. . . Poor things. . .

I think they are safe now.
