This is my submission for today's Thursday Challenge.
This is a jar that my mother has been trying to sell for a while now. It's a bit on the pricey side I guess. It is a type of marble, she calls it burmatique, or something like that. Sometimes I think she has the name wrong, because I can't find any way to spell it that is correct either in a dictionary or on Google. Ah well.
I think it's pretty neat though. She used to have a great big pot made out of the same thing, but I think I remember her saying that it had cracked. Too bad, it was really pretty. I think this stuff looks a bit like petrified wood, and maybe it is something similar.
I am submitting this because of the simplicity of the photo itself, not the jar. Although, I have wanted to put the jar up for a while now, and never had a really good reason too. :-)
