This is my submission for today's LensDay.
This is a Slider. A turtle. She was being very fussy about being held for most of the lecture. But when I got close with the camera, she posed. Like she was saying, "I'm a pretty, behaving, girl!"
We used to keep turtles like her in a small wading pool when I was a kid. They were pretty cool.
