This is my submission to today's Photo Friday.

I started a little northwest of my house (as it is in the middle of the block, and the ends of my street don't go farther than the next intersections). Anyway, I started at the corner and walked two blocks north and four blocks west. To this moment I don't know why it went that way. It took me to one of the skankier parts of town. Not that ANY part of Burlington is as skanky as some places in a real city, but I digress.

They had been tearing up the sidewalks on this street. I think that they are burying the electrical and phone lines, but I'm not really sure. :-) I was hoping to see some bones. The local university had put a stop to the construction for a little while because someone had found some old burial sites when they started digging up the sidewalks. But I guess they are done now. I didn't see anything that would indicate a historical dig was going on. Lots of conduit for the new wires though. :-)

Anyhow, I found a really pretty sunset when I got to where I was going. So I didn't really look around as much as I probably should have.

=^.^=

Enjoy!
