This is another picture from the pseudo business webpage collection.
This is called Dichroic glass. If you want to super long-winded, scientific definition go here. BUt, as far as I know it's pretty much just glass with layers of metal oxides. Not something I'll ever make, but we sell it pretty well. I guess there are a couple different ways of doing it, but they are all too much for me to do in my little apartment! :-)
