Yes, she actually did this. The landlady. . . I think that she sure is a piece of work! She put a coat of paint on the doors (they're really white, but there would be waaay too much white with the white doors and walls. . .), and then she spray painted silver: the knobs, bolts, brush-like stuff and the rubbery stuff around the doors that's supposed keep out the draft ("Just so they will all be the same!"). . . While my poor father with asthma, and both A~ and my mom with decreased lung capacity were in the apartment. . . Oi. Just. . . Oi.

I really wonder about her sometimes.

Oh, and my cat really isn't that color, but I was being lazy and didn't feel like drawing all the stripes! And my neighbor's Shar-Pei has smaller eyes.
